I was craving cheesecake for the longest time. Pure creamy cheesecake. Not oreo cheesecake. Didn't want to buy a whole cake because the husband doesn't eat cheese.
So I decided to bake. It was pretty easy (once again) but the jello I got was a lousy brand and it doesn't set as well. On top of that, I realise my pan has holes in it so the jelly flowed out before it set.
This easy recipe turned out to be really good.
I had some really old bananas lying around, and I'm sick of eating them (but they're awesome in dessserts) so I decide to make these steamed cakes. They turn out to be really delicious. Just like those Chinese steamed cakes but with bananas inside. Love them when they're hot. Goes very well with Lipton Vanilla Milk Tea. Yummy!
Unlike Faithy, I don't have the luxury of time to enjoy a full baking session. Though I'm not working, I'm my dd's main caregiver so my time greatly depends on her. If she sleeps, that's when I have some time at hand. Still, I can't predict how long she will sleep so I dare not (yet) attempt to do full-fledged baking for fear of her waking up in the middle of my preparing.
These Easy-bake crackers are very very easy to make. Took me only 10 minutes tops. I decided on these because I have some Jacob crackers which I'm bored of, and quite a lot of Hershey's Chocolate chips which have been sitting in my fridge for a long time.
After chilling, they're not crispy as Jacobs crackers should be. Their texture is more like cookies.
Recipe:
Put 9 Jacobs crackers in a baking pan. Spoon melted butter on top of the crackers. Bake for 3 minutes. Then put chocolate chips on top of the baked crackers. Using the back of a spoon, spread the chocolate. Sprinkle crushed almonds. Refrigerate.
Simple, right? Nothing fanciful compared to Faithy's!
